| Well, James updated, so I suppose I will, too.
I'm almost done!!! Just gotta finish up my simulations and write that thesis and I'm out. Then I can be a paid slave, instead of an unpaid one. Big change, huh?
The master's is a funny thing. On the one hand, I think I should have waited a year or so before I started. That way, I'd have some sort of break from studying. On the other hand, I'm glad I did it. The learning is completely different from undergrad, as are the expectations. You also come to realize that you know close to nothing. Well, that's not entirely true. You know a lot about one very, very particular subject, but also realize that you know almost nothing about everything else. Not that you don't at least have a general understanding, but things are just much more complicated than undergrad courses led you to believe...well, that's how it was for me, anyway.
It's going to be weird moving back home. I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with it. Back to being dependent again. At least I can save some money for my first house. And a new car. And a second house. Then another car. In fact, that cycle could be repeated forever and people would say I was successful. Seems fairly meaningless, huh? Well, it is, but I still want a new car. The house, eventually.
I want to travel and see the world. Money is always the problem. And if I have money, I don't have time. If I have time, I don't have money. The next option is credit card debt, huh? I just can't bring myself to go into that state, though. It feels too irresponsible. And that is why I live on borderline bankruptcy. I get just enough to pay for food and rent, but not enough for anything beyond. Actually, I barely get enough for the food. I've been lucky enough to have someone who's willing to help me out.
Ok, enough blabbering. You stay classy San Diego.

Wuddaup mofo's Time to blogg again, everyone do a quick up date of your life so we can all catch up the same time, Invite goes only to the boys and girls whom have survived in Sorrento 172.
My life has turned upside down since i've been here in shanghai. Everything is new to me, and nothing is what it seems. I've been ripped off, pampered, loved, hated, On Tv shows, in magazine, teached, worked, and seen things that you can not imagine, so I will not try to describe.
This is James, Living and working in Shanghai now, I eat fast food for breakfast, 10 RMB lunch, and fest every night at diner. I've been getting fatter here during the winter days, as for there are no fucking way im going running in the blazzing cold. Work is boring but it builds the resume. I party about once a week now that I have a gf, used to be 3times a week, but those days are getting scarce. Some of you wonder why im here, I say this to you, Because Sunnyvale is fucking boring. Period.
I don't have any pics rite now, but when I do, I'll put them up as much as I can. :) | | |
